That is great that Merle and Willie are top on the album charts, but that won’t last which is a shame. Chris Stapleton went down fast man country music is taking a nose dive since garbage is on country radio now days. I miss the old country music even in the 1990’s when country music was in new waves.

very interesting to see how Willie and Merle debuted at #1 while Billy Currington’s album (which was largely promoted by his single don’t it and is very Bro country) only debuts at #3. I don’t know, maybe this is a sign. maybe people are starting to grow tired of that garbage. I was frankly terrified when I listened Billy’s Do I Make You Wanna and somehow I already knew that “dance real slow” would rhyme with “two lane road”.

The biggest loser of all is Billy Currington. After 6 albums , he hasn’t reach the top of the Billboard’s Country Albums yet.

I would say the biggest loser is Gloriana they couldn’t even debut in the Top 10. Also the album sold less than 5000 copies and well given their on a major label like Warner Bros. I won’t be surprised if these guys are dropped from their label soon. They deserve it now after an album that just was so forgettable
