Earlier today there was an interview piece on the site with a Texas country artist. Unfortunately it had to be pulled because they felt it “misrepresented” them.
We now have a new policy for all future interviews conducted on the site from here on out. All interviews will be conducted via video or audio and presented in this form. Email is also acceptable. No telephone interviews.
Thank you to all of the readers out there that understand. Thank you for visiting and supporting Country Perspective
Founder & Chief Editor, Country Perspective
Country Perspective has been a one person operation so far. Yours truly has been the voice behind every post. While I have a lot to say on country music, it can be tiring hearing the same voice over and over. Sounds just like mainstream country music! With that in mind, I’m looking to add another voice (or maybe two) to the site to mix it up and give you different perspectives on country music. First thing on your mind: Is this a paid position? No. I don’t make any money off this site and don’t ever intend to in the future (although if the possibility would arise for some reason I would pursue it). I do this out of my love for country music and you would be writing for the same reason. You will not be expected to write something every day nor will you have a deadline. You can write whatever you want concerning country music. You can write one post a week or 10 posts a week. It’s entirely up to you. I will of course review it before it’s published on the site.
If you’re interested in being part of Country Perspective or have any questions regarding being a contributor, please contact me via Twitter on a private message. I will then give you my email address and we can discuss things in more detail. I don’t like to publish my email to the entire world because I hate spam. If you’re not on Twitter and interested, leave a comment below and I will contact you via the email you use for your comment. I’m looking forward to adding another member (or two) to Country Perspective!
